Small group workshops facilitated by Alison Clayburn (M.A. Creative Writing for PersonalDevelopment) at Canada Water Library (next to Canada Water bus/train/tube station)Rotherhithe London SE16.
Saturdays 1.30pm - 4.30pm
These workshops use creative writing to explore both personal and collective responses to acommon theme, and then produce creative nonfiction, poetry or story.
ATTACHMENTS
We all have attachments. We relate, separate and obsess. We will explore the nature of our attachments, what arethey and who or what are they with? How do we feel about our relationships, chosen or obligatory, past or present,andseparation, whether by choice or force of circumstance? To who or what are - or were - we attached to the pointof obsession, and why?We will look at our attachments in a variety of ways, using reflective writing and ideasharing. We will then write a unique piece of personal poetryor prose – or both!

Oct 12 2019: separation
Nov 9 2019:obsession
Ideas will be shared in confidence and draft pieces feedbacked.
The group will be small, confidential and supportive.
Cost: £90 for three, £70 for two, if booked together. £40 for one.
The booking deadline is three days ahead of each workshop.
