Experience

Running Creative Writing sessions with people suffering homelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, and mental health issues for Gloucestershire Adult Education Services, The Recovery College, Turning Point, Quilter House and Artshape in Gloucestershire Self-generated projects include running a women only writing group Word Maidens, and being the Creative Producer on two largescale, ACE funded theatre projects with Gloucester Scriptorium which gained me the Writer’s Guild award for Theatre Encouragement Creative Writing tutor at Gloucestershire College from 2012-2016 Advocacy work against ageism in the arts with Sheffield University on their Creative Lives report, and running a campaign ‘Written Off Women’ supporting older women writers. I am always happy to discuss running workshops or delivering creative projects for individuals or clients.

Skills & Interests:
I’m a published author, and playwright with a strong track record of writing and producing performance pieces across the UK and Ireland. I’m also an award winning creative producer with extensive experience of supporting writers in workshops, one-to-one mentoring and through large scale arts projects. I am currently developing more work in my preferred area of speciality which is using writing for therapeutic purposes.
