The Beyond Text team invite practitioners and researchers from all disciplines to attend an exciting open workshop at Storyhouse, which will support participants to conduct high quality arts-based research, assessment and evaluation through practice.
Come to meet colleagues from across Europe and Palestine, who are shaping arts-based tools and methodologies in their diverse professional contexts and disciplines, and share practice-based experiences. The workshop programme offers a mixed format of sessions in Chester's cultural heart, including:
- - Presentations about the use of arts-based methods in STEM
- - Demonstrations of arts-based methods in research within and beyond the university
- - Opportunities to participate in the use of arts-based methods (such as performative and visual arts, dérive, found poetry and zines) in research, assessment and evaluation
- - Refreshments will be provided and there will be opportunities for informal conversations.
